Abstract:
'This paper gives some new elements of the work of Hassar, a mathematician of the medieval West muslim. It is based on the contents of the "Kitab al-Kamil", his mathematics book, the first volume of which has just been identified, and on information drawn from the Arabic mathematical tradition of the Maghreb.'
