Abstract:
'What follows is not the history of a discovery'. It is not even the history of how a piece of research came to be seen as a discovery. Rather, it is the history of how the distinction between fact and technique was constituted in relation to what became known as hybridoma technology; Thanks to a technique known as hybridoma technology, scientists are now able to make quantities of specific antibodies.
