La symétrie de l'ornement sur un bijou du trésor de Mycènes / David Speiser.
Abstract:
The gold treasure discovered by Schliemann in the graves of Mycenae contains a number of medals decorated with ornaments. Many of these ornaments possess a hexagonal pattern and one shows a construction that makes one guess that it was stimulated by the knowledge of a well known theorem of elementary geometry. This claim is supported in detail and questions as to where from? and as to influences on later times are briefly discussed
