Abstract:
The "Table of affinities" owned by the Florence Museum of History of Science has been traditionally related to the researches of the Swedish chemist T. Bergman (1735-1784). Researches carried out by the Autor comparing many Tables of affinity bear out the conclusion that the Florentine Table does not derive from Bergman's work on elective attractions, but is rathes the Table of Relations of the French chemist E. F. Geoffroy (1672-1731), modified by the addition of one column
